Roger S. Duncan : Adult Educator- photography classes and adventures
Roger S. Duncan has led Adult Education classes in Bath and Lewiston since 2006. His programs have been regularly well attended and have covered topics including basic, fine art, photojournalism, sports, and portraiture. To register for these courses click name of the town in which you'd like to take classes.

Bath: Mondays. 6:30-8:30 pm ~ Call Pam at 207-443-8255 to register.
Basic Photography: Beyond Auto -- Jan 23, 30, Feb 6, 13, 20. We'll find a classroom in town for vacation week.
In this course, you'll have a chance to understand how both cameras in general and your camera works. We'll look at the specs of the camera, composition, color and managing your digital pictures smoothly both at home and online.
Lewiston: Tuesdays. 6:30-8:30 pm ~ register online.
Portraiture -- Feb 7, 14, 21, 28, March 6 + 13. 5 sessions in 6 weeks, Vacation week is off.
In this course we'll make pictures of people more in depth. We'll consider different qualities of light in a hands-on seminar, styles of imagery, lots of critique and a chance to display imagery in public.
ART OPENINGS:
Bath Fine Art course has imagery in gallery at Back Street Bistro. Address is 10 Town Hall Place, Brunswick. Please check it out! It will be up through March 1, 2012.
The Lewiston class has work up at The Green Ladle : 156 East Ave at 6:30. Please come!!
Between these two classes, there are 20 adults showing their work, none of whom have ever displayed art photography in public before.

Brenda Giasson: Creative user of HDR, great printer, specializes in Maine Scenic Photography.
Dick Butterer: I grieve his recent passing. He was an undeniable gentleman, a skilled photographer and a friend. His exploration of Precious Light and consistent willingness to share his understanding and vision provided role modeling in community. We miss him.
