At Bowdoin College Commencement on Sunday, 449 students from around the world graduated from college - including 51 from Maine. .The college awarded honorary doctorates to Dramatist Edward Albee; Visual Artist Stephen Hannock - Bowdoin class of 1974; Breast Cancer Scientist Olufunmilayo Olopade; Human Rights activist and lawyer Kenneth Roth; and Inuit rights and climate activist Shiela Watt-Cloutier.
